Embarking on supporting Nutrition specific and sensitive intervention; Promotion through education of good Nutritional practices both in health institutions and community outreach programs, treatment of severe and mild Malnutrition, deworming, Vit A supplement, Iron and Folic Acid
Promotion of Kitchen garden and chicken rearing to improve on balanced diet
Good practices towards maternal, infant and young child nutrition (MIYCN)-includes;

  • maternal nutrition,
  • exclusive breastfeeding and optimal complimentary feeding,
  • good hygiene practices e.g. hand washing
  • Eliminate communicable diseases
  • Halt and reverse rising burden of NCD’s
  • Reduce the burden of injuries and violence
  • Provide essential healthcare
  • Minimize exposure to health risk factors (Promotion and Prevention)
  • Strengthen collaboration with Government, donors and private health related sector

The projects under this program include:
