balanced diet
Good practices towards maternal, infant and young child
nutrition (MIYCN)-includes;
- maternal nutrition,
- exclusive breastfeeding and optimal complimentary feeding,
- good hygiene practices e.g. hand washing
- Eliminate communicable diseases
- Halt and reverse rising burden of NCD’s
- Reduce the burden of injuries and violence
- Provide essential healthcare
- Minimize exposure to health risk factors (Promotion and Prevention)
- Strengthen collaboration with Government, donors and private health related sector
